Product Information

  • Beautiful dark green foliage
  • Breath-taking in shady borders
  • Creates elegant flower arrangements

Hydrangea 'Annabelle' is an exceptional shrub, and an RHS AGM winner. This extraordinary variety produces enormous, spherical white flower heads that contrast beautifully with its dark green foliage. A breathtaking addition to shady borders, its impressive flower heads are also highly valued by flower arrangers for creating elegant dried displays. This lovely specimen plant would be perfectly at home in a woodland garden. Position in a sunny or partially shaded spot, sheltered from harsh weather. For best results, plant in rich, fertile, moist soil, adding compost or manure if necessary. To maintain its appearance, leave the faded flower heads in place until the new buds swell in spring, protecting them from frost damage. Prune after flowering to restrict growth and improve the plant's shape, then apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or compost around its base. Position: Sun or Partial Shade. Height: Up to 2.5m. Spread: Up to 2.5m. Supplied in a 12 Litre Nursery Pot. Images are for guidance only and the expected results from plants may vary, depending on growing conditions upon maturity. Images are for illustration of supply, but can vary due to seasonal changes and may not be the exact variety.
