Product Information

  • Versatile sowing indoors or outdoors for year-round fresh leaves
  • Compact plants reach up to 35cm in height and spread
  • Pack contains approximately 500 seeds

Embark on your gardening adventure now with the Thompson and Morgan Herb Parsley Titan Seeds. To successfully grow this plant, position it in full sun for optimal development. It thrives in cool conditions, so it is advisable to steer clear of extreme heat. Maintain consistent soil moisture, avoiding waterlogging, and apply a balanced fertiliser every three to four weeks. Moderate humidity is ideal; consider misting occasionally. Images are for guidance only and depict the expected results upon maturity, which may vary based on growing conditions. Seasonal changes may impact plant appearance (for instance, deciduous plants may lose leaves during colder months), and decorative pots are not included. Regular harvesting of this robust variety yields an abundance of leaves, which not only create an attractive garnish but also enhance the flavour of soups, sauces, and a variety of other dishes. Direct sow parsley seeds outdoors from March to July. Plants flourish in a well-prepared seedbed under full sun or partial shade. Seeds should be sown thinly at a depth of 1cm (half an inch) in drills spaced 30cm apart. Note that parsley seeds have a slow germination rate, taking up to 28 days, especially in wet, cold soil. Alternatively, seeds can be sown indoors or in a glasshouse from August to February to ensure fresh leaves throughout the year. Use 7.5cm (3 inch) pots filled with free-draining seed compost while maintaining a temperature of eighteen to 21°C until germination occurs. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to 23cm (9 inches) apart. Gradually acclimate parsley plants to outdoor conditions over a period of seven to ten days before transplanting them outside after the threat of frost has passed. This variety prefers sun or semi-shade, achieving a height and spread of up to 35cm (13.8 inches) when fully established. Each packet contains 500 parsley seeds. Images serve as guidance for expected results upon maturity and may vary according to growing conditions or seasonal changes. The pack contains approximately 500 seeds.
