Growing Tips: The Weeping Fig prefers stability, so avoid moving it unnecessarily. Position it in a bright room, away from cold draughts and radiators, maintaining a consistent temperature between 16°C and 24°C. Ensure it's shielded from direct sunlight.
Watering: From spring to autumn, water regularly using tepid rainwater, ensuring thorough drainage after each watering. Reduce watering during the winter months.
Feeding: Support active growth by feeding regularly from March to September with a suitable houseplant fertiliser.
Humidity: The Ficus benjamina 'Nina' thrives in a humid environment. Increase humidity by placing the plant on a tray of pebbles and water, allowing the water to evaporate around it.
Pruning/Maintenance: To maintain a neat appearance, remove older leaves as the plant grows. Prune in autumn or winter, and avoid relocating the Weeping Fig unless absolutely necessary.
