Thompson and Morgan Cordyline Torbay Red Plant in Pot 9cm 3 Pack

Cordyline provides a dramatic focal point with its spiky, deep red foliage, ideal as a centrepiece or backdrop in containers or borders. This resilient plant is well-suited to coastal gardens, tolerating salt air with ease, and thrives on terraces, balconies, and courtyards. Over time, it will mature and produce delicate cream flowers.
For initial growth, maintain frost-free conditions and acclimatise the plant to the outdoors over seven to ten days before planting. Cordylines flourish in fertile, well-drained soil in a sheltered, sunny location. They particularly enjoy mild coastal environments and benefit from well-rotted manure incorporated into the soil during planting. Regular feeding and watering are essential until the plant is fully established.
Once established, Cordylines require minimal attention but need winter protection if temperatures fall below -5°C (23°F). In colder regions, growing Cordylines in large patio containers is advisable, allowing them to be moved indoors during the coldest months.
