  • Foliage reaches up to 45cm height and spread when mature
  • Suitable for sun or semi-shade in pots or exotic gardens

Bring a mystical flair to your space with Thompson & Morgan Coleus Palisandra Seeds. Its dramatic deep black velvety foliage that stays fresh throughout the year, making it perfect for patio pots, exotic gardens or conservatories. Enjoy the ease of growing this tender perennial, which thrives in sun or semi-shade and requires minimal maintenance. Supplied as a packet of 15 seeds with full growing instructions, you'll find sowing and caring for this plant simple, whether indoors or outdoors. How to grow: sow at any time of the year on the surface of a good seed compost but do not cover with compost. Sealing in a polythene bag after sowing is helpful. Do not exclude light. Germination takes 10-20 days at 20-30°C (70-85F). When the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into 7.5cm (3in) pots and finally 15cm (6in) pots. In the home, grow in a well lit spot, in the greenhouse provide a little shade. Remove the flower spikes as they will weaken the plant.
