Thompson and Morgan Clematis Urophylla Plant in Pot 7cm

A vigorous, easy-to-grow evergreen climber, Clematis ‘Winter Beauty’ provides year-round screening and rapid cover for walls, fences, or trellises. Its lush foliage offers constant greenery, complemented by lightly fragrant, nodding white bell-shaped blooms in late winter and early spring. Thriving in most conditions and aspects, it’s ideally suited to sheltered spots, especially near windows to showcase its stunning winter flowers. Best grown initially in a pot until sufficiently large for planting, it prefers sun or semi-shade and deep planting in moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Train it onto a support such as a trellis, wires, or climbing frame, and water and feed regularly during the growing season. This variety flowers in early spring on the previous year's growth; prune in summer after flowering, removing damaged stems and cutting back to healthy buds. Apply a mulch of well-rotted manure or compost in spring to protect roots and retain moisture. Reaches up to 4m high and 1.2m wide when mature.
