Thompson and Morgan Clematis Nubia Plant Pot 15cm

Clematis 'Nubia' is a striking variety celebrated for its velvety, bright red blooms, beautifully contrasted by dark purple anthers. A free-flowering plant with a neat, compact habit, 'Nubia' is a superb choice for patio containers or for training up obelisks, fences, or walls. It also makes a vibrant addition to borders, providing a colourful display throughout the summer months. This clematis falls into pruning group 3. For best results, pot up clematis plants and allow them to develop before planting in their final positions. When planting clematis, choose a location that enjoys full sun or partial shade, with moist, fertile, and well-drained soil. Plant deeply, ensuring the top of the root ball is approximately 7.5cm (3 inches) below the surface to encourage new shoots from the base. Clematis dislikes overly wet or dry conditions; improve poor soil with well-rotted manure or garden compost.
