Thompson and Morgan Clematis Little Lemons Plant in Pot 7cm

This Thompson and Morgan Clematis Little Lemons Plant Pot is a remarkable dwarf variety, ideal for adding a splash of colour to your outdoor spaces. With its compact form, it’s perfectly suited for container growing, hanging baskets, and window boxes, yet equally at home towards the front of a border. For best results, position in sun or semi-shade and plant deeply in moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Clematis dislikes soils that are particularly wet or dry. Such soils can be improved by the addition of plenty of well-rotted manure or garden compost. When planting clematis in patio containers, use a soil-based compost such as John Innes No 3.
This variety flowers in late summer on the current year’s growth. Prune in spring before active growth begins, cutting back all of the previous year’s stems to a pair of healthy buds at around 10 to 20cm above ground level. In spring, mulch with well-rotted manure or garden compost to protect the roots and conserve soil moisture.
