Product Information

  • Fragrant springtime blossoms
  • Great for juice, jams and cooking
  • Ideal for patios or conservatories

Bring the zest of the Mediterranean to your home with these delightful mini citrus trees. Their glossy evergreen foliage provides a beautiful backdrop to clusters of fragrant, waxy blossoms each spring. Perfectly suited for a conservatory or bright windowsill, these trees can also be moved to a warm patio during the summer months.
Ideal for a warm conservatory, these citrus trees will eventually reward you with fruit that's bursting with vitamin C. The fruits are incredibly versatile in the kitchen, perfect for making juices, jams, and chutneys, or freezing whole to use as refreshing ice cubes. Beyond their culinary uses, the vibrant fruits also provide a stunning ornamental display.
For planting, use a container or pot filled with a blend of ericaceous compost and a neutral, soil-based compost such as John Innes No. 3. When repotting, ensure the plant remains at its original soil level and is firmly settled. Water generously and position the pot in a well-lit spot, away from cold draughts and radiators – a conservatory is ideal, maintaining a temperature between 4-12°C.
Once the risk of frost has passed, usually from May to October, you can move the plants outdoors. Water them well during the summer and mist the leaves daily to boost humidity and keep pests at bay. Feed the plants every two weeks with a citrus plant fertiliser.
Remember to bring the plants back indoors before the frost arrives. In winter, reduce watering, but ensure the plant doesn't dry out completely; both overwatering and underwatering can cause fruit drop.
This set includes one each of the following: a Lime (Citrus) Tree in a 9cm pot, a Lemon (Citrus) Tree in a 9cm pot, and an Orange (Citrus) Tree in a 9cm pot.
