Product Information

  • Fragrant spring blossoms
  • Homegrown vitamin C-rich fruit
  • Ideal for conservatories or patios

Adorn your conservatory or sunny windowsill with this stunning orange tree, its glossy evergreen leaves crafting a beautiful backdrop. In spring, anticipate clusters of fragrant, waxy blossoms. During the warmer months, move it outdoors to a warm patio. These citrus fruits require about a year to develop, so savour the delightful taste of homegrown oranges, packed with vitamin C.
Perfect for juices, jams, and chutneys, they're a versatile ingredient for cooking and baking, or freeze the whole fruit for use as ice cubes. The attractive fruits also provide a lovely ornamental display.
For planting, use a container or pot filled with ericaceous compost mixed with a neutral, soil-based compost such as John Innes No.3. Repot the plant at its original soil level, firming it well into the new container. Water thoroughly and place in a well-lit spot, away from cold draughts and radiators, ideally maintaining a temperature between 4-12°C. If the location is frost-free, the plant can be placed outdoors from May to October. During the summer, water generously and mist the leaves daily to boost humidity and deter pests. Feed the plant with a citrus fertiliser every two weeks. Bring it back indoors before frost occurs. In winter, reduce watering but avoid complete drying, as either too much or too little water may cause fruit to fall.
Supplied in a 9cm nursery pot, the orange tree will be delivered with care, along with growing instructions. Please note: images are for guidance only and reflect the expected results of mature plants. Actual results may vary due to different growing conditions, and images may not depict the exact variety, as seasonal changes can affect appearance. Seasonal changes can affect appearance.
