Ceanothus, commonly known as the Californian Lilac, is celebrated for its abundant powder blue flowers that envelop the shrub, creating a visually stunning blue spectacle. This variety thrives in moist, well-drained soil and requires a sunny location sheltered from harsh winds. It can flourish as a standalone shrub or be trained to grow against a wall or fence. Each spring, prune the stems that flowered the previous year, cutting back to within two or three buds of the main woody structure. The Californian Lilac has been honoured with the RHS Award of Garden Merit. This product is supplied as six 9cm pots and includes growing and care instructions.
