- Golden blooms from May to September
- Ideal for fences walls or trellis
- Loved by bees and pollinators
Expect exquisite golden apricot-yellow blooms all summer long with the Jazz Gold Campsis, drawing in pollinating insects to your garden. From May until the end of September, these charming displays will climb up your walls and fences, adding a touch of elegance. While fully hardy, Campsis thrive best against a warm, sunny wall, which provides added protection and encourages better flowering. Plant in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny spot. Alternatively, use soil-based compost like John Innes No.2 in patio containers, adding extra grit for drainage. Once established, these Trumpet Vines are drought-resistant. After planting, cut back all stems to 15cm from the ground to stimulate new growth. Train the strongest new shoots and remove weaker ones. After two or three years, once a framework is established, prune backside shoots to within two or three shoots of the main stems in late winter. This plant can be positioned in sun or semi-shade, reaching a height and spread of up to 152cm. Supplied as a 1-litre pot, it comes with growing and care instructions.
