Thompson and Morgan Blackcurrant Ribes Ben Connan Plant Pot 9cm 2 Pack

The Blackcurrant Ribes Ben Connan is a compact bush variety renowned for its abundant yields of large, glossy black fruits, bursting with a rich, intense flavour. This robust cultivar begins producing a substantial harvest from July, with a sustained fruiting period. From its second year, expect each plant to yield over 3.5kg of fruit, continuing for up to 10 years. Highly resistant to mildew and displaying good frost tolerance, this blackcurrant is a reliable choice for the garden.
Reaching a height and spread of 120cm (47”), we supply established, healthy 1-year old bareroot pre-pruned plants which will quickly establish once planted. Cropping is estimated to begin within 16-20 months of planting (or 4-8 months for premium bareroot or 3L potted plants), with best yields expected within the same timeframe.
