These beauties boast fully double flowers in a medley of five cheerful colours, elevated above distinctive chocolate-toned foliage. Renowned for their continuous summer-long display, these begonias are a superb choice for adding life to beds, borders, containers, hanging baskets, and window boxes.
Reaching a height and spread of up to 30cm (12"), these begonias offer more than just visual appeal. The bright petals can be used to add a light lemon flavour and crisp texture to sandwiches or salads.
Our begonia plugs are versatile. Plant them directly into flower pouches, or for best results, pot them on first. Nurture them in a bright, frost-free environment, allowing them to grow before showcasing them in your desired displays. Once the threat of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise the begonia plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before settling them into their final positions.
For optimal growth, choose a location that offers sun or partial shade, sheltered from strong winds. Water and feed regularly throughout the growing season, being careful not to over-water, which can lead to bud drop. Regularly remove faded flowers to prolong the blooming period and encourage further flowering.
