Alstroemeria ‘White Pink Blush’ is a hardy perennial showcasing exquisite, funnel-shaped white blooms, delicately blushed with pink and adorned with the classic Alstroemeria dark streaks. Reaching a compact height and spread of 30cm (12"), this variety is perfectly suited for both vibrant flowering borders and as a charming feature in patio pots, hanging baskets, and window boxes.
Enjoy an exceptionally long flowering season, from spring through to autumn – June to November – with these rewarding plants. The ‘White Pink Blush’ is also a magnet for pollinating insects. Plant in a sunny or semi-shaded spot with fertile, moist, well-drained soil once the risk of frost has passed. Alternatively, use a soil-based compost for patio containers.
Water regularly throughout the growing season, and feed container-grown plants monthly. To encourage further growth, pluck the flowers instead of cutting them when harvesting. In autumn, cut back old flower stems and apply a dry mulch of chipped bark or straw around the base to protect from winter cold. Alstroemeria thrives undisturbed, but overcrowded clumps can be divided in autumn or spring.
