This hardy perennial features an abundance of delightfully fragrant, cerise pink flowers atop long stems, set against a backdrop of deep green foliage. Perfect for cottage gardens, wildlife gardens, low-maintenance gardens, cut flower gardens and coastal gardens. This hardy variety thrives in a full sun position, reaching heights and spreads of up to 60cm. Plant Achillea plants in any well-drained soil in full sun, avoiding wet ground, especially during winter. Improve heavy soil conditions by adding coarse grit or sharp sand before planting.
Once established, Yarrow is reasonably drought-tolerant and requires little maintenance. In summer, stake the tall flower stems with garden canes to prevent them from drooping. Leave faded flower heads intact at the end of summer to enjoy an attractive autumn seed head display. Cut stems down to ground level after the first frosts.
