A hub is not required, as the element connects directly to the app via Wi-Fi.
Please note that a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network is required for the initial connexion and setup of the element (this may need to be enabled by your internet service provider but can be disabled once connected).
The Rolo Towel boasts robust 40mm diameter bars, providing a sturdy construction with excellent heat output. Benefit from five room temperature settings (15 to 28°C), a convenient drying function, and a comprehensive 7-day timer. The smart system comprises heating devices and sensors only, eliminating the need for an additional hub. For even more precise temperature control throughout your room, pair it with the VTS wall-mounted temperature sensor and VOS open window sensor (available separately). It's also fully compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT.
The brass colour option from Terma features a smooth, matt metallic texture, perfectly complementing period-style bathrooms with brass pipework and accessories, or adding an edge to modern spaces. Terma offers a colour chip of this finish should you wish to see the colour prior to purchase.
The smart split (SS1) heating probe is pre-fitted inside the electric towel rail on the right side (but can be moved to the left if needed). The VEO controller simply pushes on and can be rotated for optimal viewing. The clamshell casing of the VEO element is in a matching or complementary colour to the electric towel rail.
The Terma SMART App includes geolocation, automatically lowering the temperature by 3-4°C when you leave and returning to comfort mode as you approach home. It also offers a full 7-day timer, a 2-hour drying function with auto shut-off, and a holiday mode accessible via the app.
