A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network is required for initial setup (may need enabling by your internet provider), but can be deactivated afterwards. The smart system includes heating devices and sensors only, so there is no need for an additional hub. For highly accurate room temperature readings, pair with the VTS wall-mounted temperature sensor and VOS open window sensor (available separately).
