Terma Retro Electric Towel Rail with VEO Element Controller Brushed Brass 1170 x 504mm

Introducing the Retro oil-filled electric towel rail, complete with the cutting-edge Terma VEO element controller, bringing the latest in Wi-Fi technology to your home. Controlled effortlessly via the free Terma SMART app (iOS/Android), this system is also compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT. A hub is not required, as the element connects directly to the app via Wi-Fi, requiring a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for initial setup (which may need enabling by your internet service provider, but can be disabled once connected).
The Retro boasts a traditional design, solid construction, and prominent flat bars that beautifully showcase the colour (as opposed to small round bars). Offering five room temperature settings (15 to 28°C), a drying function, and a comprehensive 7-day timer, the smart system consists solely of heating devices and sensors, eliminating the need for an additional hub. For enhanced precision, pair with the Terma VTS wall-mounted temperature sensor and Terma VOS open window sensor (available separately) for accurate temperature measurement throughout the room.
The Brushed Brass finish from Terma presents a smooth, matt texture with brass undertones and overlaid black brush marks. A 150x50mm colour chip is available from Terma should you wish to see the colour prior to purchase. The smart split (SS1) heating probe is pre-fitted inside the electric towel rail on the right side (but can be moved to the left if needed). The VEO controller easily pushes on and can be rotated for optimal viewing. The VEO element's clamshell casing is in a matching or complimentary colour to the electric towel rail.
The Terma SMART App features geolocation, automatically lowering the temperature by 3-4°C upon departure and returning to comfort mode as you approach home. Enjoy a full 7-day timer, a 2-hour drying function with auto shut-off, and a holiday mode, all accessible via the app. Compliant with the Lot20 Eco-design Directive for electric radiators with adaptive start control. A straight 1.5m cable, pre-fitted with a UK 3-pin plug, allows for easy installation near a plug socket (remove the plug for bathroom installations). IPx5 rated for safe bathroom use. Class 1. UKCA Approved. Comes with a 2-year guarantee.
