Introducing the Terma electric towel rail, complete with a fully internalised Terma ONE element. This minimalist heating element is discreetly positioned at the bottom of the rail, with the cable cleverly exiting through the bottom right mounting bracket. This allows for seamless channelling into the wall or neat routing down the surface.
Featuring two heat settings, 45°c and 60°c, the internal radiator temperature is easily regulated, with a multi-colour LED indicating the selected level. A convenient 2-hour drying function is also included. The rail's compatibility with external timers ensures it remembers settings when switched off.
Equipped with an IR receiver, it integrates effortlessly with Terma's TTIR or DTIR Infrared Controllers (available separately). These controllers offer complete 7-day timer functionality and a portable ambient room temperature thermostat.
The 'Sparkling Gravel' colour, a sophisticated taupe (between brown and grey), boasts a silky smooth textured finish. Terma offers a 150x50mm colour chip for pre-purchase viewing should you wish to see the colour prior to purchase. A single, discreet control button is located on the underside, complemented by a miniature front-facing LED panel pre-fitted on the right-hand side (note: this cannot be moved to the left-hand side).
Supplied with a matching grey cable, the rail is IPx5 rated, ensuring safe bathroom use. It is oil-filled and Class 1 certified, with UKCA approval. Installation is straightforward for tradespeople, requiring no complex commissioning or lengthy instructions. Trades can wire this in within minutes.
All electronic components are housed within the right vertical bar, eliminating any visible external parts at the bottom, a notable improvement over standard electric towel rails on the market. Consequently, the lowest horizontal bar serves a decorative purpose only, containing no oil and therefore not heating up. Rest assured, this does not affect the rail's listed output. The rail will still give the listed output regardless of this fact.
