The Terma Colorado traditional 3 column deep, oil-filled electric radiator, complete with the cutting-edge Terma VEO element controller, brings you the latest in Wi-Fi technology. Manage your heating via the Terma SMART app (iOS/Android), and enjoy compatibility with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT. A hub isn't needed, as the element connects directly to the app via Wi-Fi.
Please note: a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network is required for initial connexion and setup, which may need enabling by your internet service provider. Once connected, this can be switched off.
The Colorado with VEO Wi-Fi controller delivers between 1.0kW and 1.5kW of heat output (depending on the size), making it ideal for larger spaces. Benefit from five room temperature settings (15 to 28°C), a drying function, and a comprehensive 7-day timer. The smart system consists only of heating devices and sensors, so no additional hub is required. For precise temperature measurement, couple with the VTS wall-mounted temperature sensor and VOS open window sensor (available separately). It’s also fully compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT.
The lacquer version features a copper-tinted lacquer over the steel, showcasing the brazing marks from the welding process for a modern, industrial aesthetic with a subtle aged copper hue. Note that this process creates slight inconsistencies across the bars, resulting in a unique appearance.
A smart split (SS1) probe comes pre-fitted inside the radiator on the right side (non-transferable to the left). The VEO controller simply pushes on and can be rotated for easy viewing. The clamshell casing on each element matches or complements the radiator's colour. The controller is pre-fitted with a UK 3-pin plug for straightforward installation near an existing socket.
The Terma SMART App incorporates geolocation to automatically lower the temperature by 3-4°C when you leave, and returns to comfort mode as you approach home. It features a full 7-day timer, a 2-hour drying function with auto shut-off, and a holiday mode accessible via the app. Compliant with Lot20 Eco-design Directive for electric radiators, it includes adaptive start control.
