Transform your natural slate surfaces with StoneCare4U Essential Satin Finish Slate Sealer. This 5L, 3-pack sealer delivers a hard-wearing, attractive satin finish. The fast-drying formula creates a durable, stain-resistant coating perfect for natural slate, limestone, and sandstone. It enhances natural colours and works on interior and exterior surfaces.
Prep is key: Clear away loose debris. Safety first – wear gloves, eye protection, a mask, and suitable clothing. Let the surface dry completely (at least 72 hours in dry weather) before starting. Ideal application temperature is 15-23°C. Apply thinly and evenly using a low-pressure sprayer, microfibre mop, brush, or soft cloth. Avoid puddling and application marks. Don't dilute! Allow 45-60 minutes drying time between coats (apply the second coat in the opposite direction for an even finish). Add more coats for a higher gloss. Heads up: This sealer might alter the colour of some surfaces. Test it in an inconspicuous area first. Protect unsealed areas with masking material. Not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid and light grey) sandstone.
