Give your natural slate a stunning satin finish with StoneCare4U Essential Satin Finish Slate Sealer. This 2-pack of 5L tins delivers a durable, stain-resistant coating that enhances natural colours. It works wonders on slate, and also complements other porous stones like limestone and sandstone. Perfect for interior and exterior use. Before you begin, clear away any loose debris. Safety first – grab your gloves, eye protection, face mask, and appropriate clothing. Let the surface dry completely – aim for at least 72 hours of dry, clear weather. Ideal application temperature is 15-23°C. Apply thinly and evenly using a low-pressure sprayer, microfibre mop, brush, or soft cloth. Avoid puddling and application marks. Don't dilute! Allow 45-60 minutes drying time between coats. Apply the second coat in the opposite direction for a consistent finish. More coats may be needed for a higher gloss. Important: This sealer might alter the colour of some surfaces. Always test it in an inconspicuous area first. Protect unsealed areas with masking material. Note: Not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid and light grey) sandstone.
