Give your natural limestone surfaces long-lasting stain resistance with StoneCare4U Essential Matt Finish Limestone Sealer 5L. This quick-drying formula creates a durable, matt finish that's perfect for repelling water and protecting against unsightly efflorescence, green growth, and algae. It also works wonders on other porous natural stones like sandstone and slate. The product provides excellent water repellence and long-lasting protection. Before you begin, clear away any loose debris. Don't forget your safety gear: gloves, eye protection, a face mask, and appropriate clothing. Let the surface dry completely – at least 72 hours of dry, clear weather is ideal. The temperature needs to be between 13°C and 23°C for best results. Ensure the surface is thoroughly clean and dry before application. Apply two coats "wet on wet" using a low-pressure sprayer, roller, natural fibre brush, or sponge, until fully saturated. Don't dilute the sealer. Allow 45-60 minutes for the surface to dry. If rain is expected, or starts, stop immediately and protect the treated area. Keep the surface completely dry for the first six hours after application. Important: Test the sealer in an inconspicuous area first, as it may alter the colour of some surfaces. Protect any areas you don't want sealed with masking material. Not suitable for highly polished, ceramic, glazed, dense, or non-porous surfaces.
