Give your natural limestone surfaces long-lasting protection with StoneCare4U Essential Matt Finish Limestone Sealer (25L). This quick-drying formula creates a durable, matt finish that resists stains. Perfect for limestone, it also works wonders on porous stones like sandstone and slate. The sealer provides excellent water repellency, preventing efflorescence, algae, and green growth. Its self-cleaning properties mean less upkeep for you. Before you begin, clear away any loose debris. Safety first! Wear gloves, protective eyewear, a face mask, and appropriate clothing. Ensure the surface is completely dry—allow at least 72 hours of dry weather above 13°C and below 23°C. The surface must be clean and dry before application. Apply two coats "wet on wet" using a low-pressure sprayer, roller, natural fibre brush, or sponge, until saturated. Don't dilute the sealer. Allow 45-60 minutes for surface drying. If rain threatens, stop immediately and cover treated areas, keep the surface dry for the first six hours after application. Important: Test the sealer in an inconspicuous area first, as it may alter the colour of some surfaces. Protect unsealed areas with masking material. Not suitable for highly polished, ceramic, glazed, dense, or non-porous surfaces.
