This powerful cleaner is perfect for wooden decking, but also works wonders on other outdoor hard surfaces like artificial decking and garden furniture. Simply apply, leave for two hours, then wash away years of grime, algae, lichen, and black spots – even on neglected decking. Unlike harsh acid-based cleaners, our alkaline formula is kind to wood.
Before you start, brush away any loose debris and don your safety gear: gloves, eye protection, a face mask, and suitable clothing. Use neat or dilute 1:1 with water – always test a small area first to find the right mix and dwell time. Apply using a pump sprayer, watering can, or directly from the container. Keep the surface wet throughout the process, mist with water if needed to prevent drying. For stubborn stains, use a brush, ensuring the surface stays wet.
Leave it for at least two hours (up to four hours or overnight for heavy soiling). Then, rinse with clean water to neutralise before power washing for a sparkling finish. Avoid washing onto grass, rinsing thoroughly if contact occurs. For aged lichen, test a small area to determine dwell time, multiple applications may be needed.
Important: This cleaner contains a chlorine-type agent and may stain fabrics and sensitive materials. Avoid contact with fabrics and tarmac. It might slightly lighten some surfaces, so always test in an inconspicuous spot first. Covers up to 50m² per 5L (1:1 dilution). Coverage varies depending on the level of dirt.
