Transform your tired decking with StoneCare4U Essential Deck Cleaner. This powerful cleaner is perfect for wooden decking, but also tackles artificial decking and garden furniture. Simply apply, leave for two hours (or up to four for stubborn grime), then wash off. It effortlessly lifts dirt, algae, lichen, and black spots, even on neglected decking. Unlike harsh acid-based cleaners, our alkaline formula is kind to wood.
Before you begin, brush away loose debris and don your safety gear: gloves, eye protection, a mask, and suitable clothing. Use neat or dilute 1:1 with water – always test a small area first to find the best dilution and dwell time. Apply using a pump sprayer or watering can (or directly from the container if needed). Keep the surface wet throughout the process, mist with water if necessary. For stubborn stains, use a brush, ensuring the cleaner remains wet. Leave for at least two hours, then rinse thoroughly with clean water to neutralise before power washing for a sparkling finish. Avoid washing onto grass, rinsing thoroughly if contact is unavoidable.
For heavily soiled areas or persistent lichen, extend the dwell time to up to four hours, or even overnight, before power washing. Stubborn marks might need two or three applications. Important: This cleaner contains a chlorine-type agent and may stain fabrics and sensitive materials, avoid contact with these and tarmac. It may also slightly lighten some surfaces – always test in an inconspicuous spot first. Covers up to 50m² per 5L (diluted 1:1), coverage varies depending on soiling. This is a 25L container.
