The impressive 44mm thick interlocking timber walls, six opening windows with toughened glass, and high-quality mortise and tenon joinery on windows and doors (all fitted with draft excluders) contribute to its storm-resistant design. The 19mm tongue and groove timber roof and floor, supported by pressure-treated floor bearers, ensure longevity. Constructed from high-grade, slow-grown, FSC-approved Northern European pine, the cabin is delivered untreated, ready for immediate painting or staining after assembly. Please note: this is supplied as individual log boards for length-by-length assembly from the floor upwards, not pre-fabricated panels. All necessary fixings, mineral roof felt, and assembly instructions are included. Remember to account for roof overhang and allow sufficient access around the building during construction and subsequent treatment. A flat, level base of adequate size is required (grass, soil, or gravel are unsuitable).
