These premium extruded polystyrene panels, reinforced with fibreglass mesh on both sides, are perfectly matched to our under tile heating systems (though unsuitable for underwood applications). Their superior waterproof surface creates a robust base for secure tile fixing, ensuring lasting performance and moisture protection. With an outstanding thermal conductivity of 0.033 W/mK, these boards significantly boost underfloor heating efficiency, shortening heat-up times and lowering running costs for enhanced comfort and energy savings. Available in 6mm, 10mm, 12.5mm, 20mm, 30mm, and 50mm thicknesses, they offer adaptable solutions for diverse installation needs. Rigorously tested and approved by Instarmac -Ultra, compatibility and reliability are guaranteed. Beyond thermal performance, these boards effectively reduce impact sound for a quieter living space. Easy to install, they can be readily cut with a knife, simplifying the process. Suitable for both floor and wall applications. They also boast excellent dimensional stability, maintaining integrity even in demanding wet room environments. Installation on concrete subfloors requires Ultra flexible tile adhesive and a suitable primer; wood subfloors necessitate Ultra flexible tile adhesive, along with an insulation fixing pack or screws and washers at 300mm centres (approximately 15 fixings per board).
