Postsaver Creostain Light Brown Oil Based Fence and Shed Stain Creosote/Creocote Alternative 16L

Give your exterior timbers a new lease of life with Postsaver Creostain in light brown. This oil-based wood treatment acts as an effective creosote substitute, perfect for fences, sheds, and barns. Its oil-based formulation provides excellent water repellence, enhances the wood grain, and helps prevent weather damage.
This 16L tin of Creostain offers ample coverage; for example, two coats will cover approximately 14 panels of 6 x 6ft, 18 panels of 6 x 5ft, or 22 panels of 6 x 4ft. As a guide, 1 litre covers 6–8 square metres, depending on the timber's texture and porosity. (For reference, a 6 x 6ft fence panel is 3.2 square metres, a 6 x 5ft panel is 2.7 square metres, and a 6 x 4ft panel is 2.2 square metres.) It is suitable for rough, sawn, or smooth timber.
Once dry, Creostain provides a traditional appearance and shares similar physical, water-resistant, and application characteristics to traditional creosote, but contains no biocides. Apply with a brush or sprayer. Available in light brown and dark brown, a deeper colour can be achieved with additional coats.
