Postsaver Creostain Dark Brown Oil Based Fence and Shed Stain Creosote/Creocote Alternative 16L

Specifically formulated for exterior timbers, Postsaver Creostain in dark brown is an oil-based, creosote substitute wood treatment. Its oil-based composition delivers superb surface water repellence, enhances the wood grain's natural beauty, and provides protection against weather-related damage. This 16L tin of Creostain offers the following approximate coverage with two coats: 14 panels at 6 x 6ft, 18 panels at 6 x 5ft, or 22 panels at 6 x 4ft. As a guide, 1 litre covers 6–8 square metres, varying with the timber's texture and porosity. For your reference, a 6 x 6ft fence panel measures 3.2 square metres, a 6 x 5ft panel is 2.7 square metres, and a 6 x 4ft panel is 2.2 square metres. Once dry, Creostain achieves a traditional aesthetic and is suitable for rough, sawn, or smooth timber. Ideal for use on exterior fences, sheds, and barns, Creostain shares similar physical, water-resistant, and application properties with traditional creosote, but is biocide-free. Suitable for application with a brush or spray. For a deeper colour, apply additional coats. Also available in light brown.
