Grown here in the UK on dedicated Christmas tree farms, each cut tree has been carefully nurtured for over a decade – typically 12-14 years for a 6ft tree – pruned and shaped to perfection, and protected from pests to ensure a stunning centrepiece for your home.
Before handling your tree, we recommend wearing garden gloves and long sleeves, as the needles may cause mild skin irritation. Your tree should arrive with vibrant green needles (no signs of browning), all branches covered in foliage, and a classic conical shape with one straight leader. It should also be free from weeds and debris.
While all real trees naturally shed some needles, the Nordmann Fir is renowned for its superior needle retention. Upon delivery, please check the tree's quality. To keep your tree looking its best, avoid placing it near direct heat sources such as radiators, log burners or open fires, and remember to water it regularly, treating it like a cut flower.
A helpful tip: consider the space where you'll place your tree and ensure it fits comfortably, remembering that a Nordmann Fir can be approximately 1 - 1.5 metres wide at the base once unwrapped. You can always trim the tree to fit your space if needed.
Please note that as each Christmas tree is grown from seed, every tree is unique in shape and appearance. While we strive for perfection, slight variations are part of their natural charm. Tree sizes are approximate.
Delivery Concerns**.
As Christmas trees are a living product, we appreciate that from time to time you may have a concern about your tree or its delivery. Should you have any concerns, please contact us via email with your order details, a brief description of the issue, and a photograph of the issue. Live trees are exempt from Distance Selling regulations as a living product. We can only manage queries for missing, faulty or damaged trees. If there is an issue with the tree, you will need to dispose of it, as our carrier cannot collect from a domestic location. All of our live trees are exempt from our standard returns policy.
Cancellations**.
Once an order has been received, we cannot accept cancellations. Our supplier's farm will pick, pack, and process a tree before we are able to mark the order as dispatched. Therefore, if you have a concern about your order, please contact the customer services team.
