Lay-Z-Spa Lime Descaling Tool

Keep your Lay-Z-Spa® heater pump running efficiently with the official Lay-Z-Spa® Descaler. This tool effectively eliminates calcium deposits, prolonging the lifespan of your pump. Regular descaling enhances water flow and overall performance by removing limescale from the heater, circulation pump and flow sensor. It's highly recommended, especially in areas with medium or hard water.
Compatible with all Lay-Z-Spa® pumps, including AirJet™, HydroJet™, HydroJet Pro™ and UltraFit™ models, the descaler creates a short, closed water circuit within the pump for circulating descaling chemicals (not included).
To use: Disconnect the pump from the main hot tub (except UltraFit™ hot tubs). Attach the descaler to the water inlet and outlet pipes, following the instructions and using the correct adaptors. Fill to the minimum line with your chosen descaling product. We suggest either a 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar or approximately 200ml of ClearWater Scale & Stain Controller diluted in water. Secure the lid to create a closed circuit.
Choose one of the following options:.
1. Set the temperature to 30-35°C and activate the heater (which will automatically start the filter cycle), running it for 30 minutes.
2. Alternatively, leave the descaling solution in place for a minimum of 3 hours without activating the filter or heat.
Finally, unscrew the drain valve on the descaler to empty the liquid, then detach the descaler. Flush clean water through the pump for 2 minutes using a hose.
