Simply assemble the bed using the included hardware and tool – a straightforward process taking less than 30 minutes. Durable and weatherproof Zincalume steel, with a Colourbond coating for four times the lifespan of standard galvanised steel, ensures lasting quality. The beds boast a comfortable 40cm (16”) working height and include protective plastic edging for a polished finish. For optimal drainage and longevity, construct on level ground with a 10-20mm gravel base. Choose from the following dimensions: Oblong (1.6m x 0.6m, 375 litres compost), Small Rectangle (0.9m x 0.6m, 225 litres compost), Small Square (0.6m x 0.6m, 100 litres compost), Medium Rectangle (1.3m x 0.6m, 250 litres compost), Large Square (0.9m x 0.9m, 250 litres compost), and Large Rectangle (1.3m x 0.9m, 400 litres compost). Note: These raised beds do not have a base. For patio or decking use, a liner and gravel base (approx. 10-20mm) are recommended. A rubber safety band tops the planter to eliminate sharp edges.
