This flat-pack kit assembles in six different configurations to suit your space. Simply lay out the steel sheets in your chosen rectangle or square shape, then use the included hardware and tool for easy assembly. A protective plastic edging finishes the top for a neat look.
Constructed from durable, weatherproof Zincalume steel with a Colourbond coating, these raised beds boast four times the lifespan of standard galvanised steel. They offer a comfortable 40cm (16",) working height. For optimal drainage and to prevent bottom edge deterioration, construct on level ground with a 10-20mm gravel base.
Choose from the following configurations: Oblong (1.6m x 0.6m, requires 375 litres of compost), Small Rectangle (0.9m x 0.6m, requires 225 litres of compost), Small Square (0.6m x 0.6m, requires 100 litres of compost), Medium Rectangle (1.3m x 0.6m, requires 250 litres of compost), Large Square (0.9m x 0.9m, requires 250 litres of compost), and Large Rectangle (1.3m x 0.9m, requires 400 litres of compost.
Assembly is straightforward, taking under 30 minutes using only nuts and bolts (screwdriver and pliers required). Simply fill with soil once assembled. Please note: these beds have no base. For patios or decking, use a suitable liner and a 10-20mm gravel layer for drainage. A rubber safety band along the top edge prevents sharp edges.
