A solid, level base is crucial for any summerhouse, and while poured concrete or concrete slabs are often recommended, this option presents a faster, simpler, and more cost-effective alternative. The raised design provides additional ground clearance, helping to prevent water damage from splashing during heavy rain. Deep incisions in the pressure-treated timber allow for optimal preservative penetration, protecting against rot and ensuring suitability for ground contact. Assembly is easy; simply screw together the timber sections using the included screws. Ensure a level base, using suitable supports if necessary. Although directly installing a shed on soil or grass isn't ideal, this base makes it possible when used with a heavy-duty weed membrane. It boasts a 15-year anti-rot guarantee and is UC4 pressure treated. Specifically designed for Forest Garden 6ft x 6ft summerhouses, compatibility with other manufacturers' summerhouses is not guaranteed, and it's unsuitable for Forest Shiplap or Tongue & Groove sheds.
