Add a charming touch to your plant pots or terrariums with the Deco-Pak Eco Shell Chippings 750kg. The shells are collected from British seas for food consumption and are washed and reused as decorative gravel to offer you a sustainable product. A perfect alternative to quarried grit or gravel, it lightens with sun exposure to give a beautifully bright finish. The shells can be used for indoor plant pots or terrariums and are great for cacti and succulents. When used in indoor plant pots, a coverage of 20-30mm and gentle watering to avoid soil rising above the shells is required. Great for decorating borders and topping outdoor pots, it aids runoff and acts as a natural and gentle weed control. As this is a natural material, it's normal for a film of sediment to be present. It is recommended to allow the natural washing process, such as rainfall to remove this over time.
