These ingenious GRIPIT fixings utilise a patented, slim gripping wing design, ensuring a robust and dependable hold in plasterboard. Suitable for both DIY enthusiasts and professional tradespeople, they're ideal for hanging everything from curtain rails and bookshelves to kitchen/bathroom units, radiators, boilers, and wall-mounted TVs.
Unlike traditional plasterboard fixings, which can fail over time, GRIPIT fixings offer a lasting solution. Their design evenly distributes weight across a wide area, twice the fixing's diameter, ensuring the even distribution of any stresses over a wide area, providing a secure and stable mount.
Easy to install in 9.5mm to 15mm plasterboard, simply mark the spot, drill the hole with the recommended size flat bit, and tap in the GRIPIT. A quick twist of the insert with a screwdriver deploys the wings behind the board, completing the job.
These Brown GRIPIT fixings are supplied with M6 machine bolts. They're also reusable: just turn the wing screws to release and remove. For double thickness plasterboard or dot and dab adhesive, the GRIPIT Undercutting Tool accessory can create the necessary recess for the wings to rotate into place.
As seen on Dragons' Den, these fixings can hold items up to 93kg.
