Castrol Protector Series DOT 4 Brake Fluid is a high-performance, synthetic fluid designed for both cars and motorcycles. Its unique formulation, using mixed polyalkylene glycol ethers and select additives, ensures optimal performance throughout its lifespan. This fluid delivers ultimate system protection, guarding against corrosion and high-temperature vapour lock, giving you braking confidence.
Specifically formulated to meet the demands of modern, high-performance brake and clutch systems (excluding those requiring mineral oil-based fluids, for which Castrol Response LHM is suitable). Its advanced formula maintains a higher vapour lock point than conventional glycol ether-based fluids, even with age.
Fully compatible with fluids meeting FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4 standards; however, for best performance, avoid mixing with other brake fluids. Like all conventional brake fluids, it deteriorates with use. It is recommended to change the fluid every two years or according to the vehicle manufacturer's advice.
This product provides excellent performance in extreme temperatures. It contains polyalkylene glycol ethers, borate esters, and high-performance additives for ultimate system protection against corrosion and vapour lock.

Storage: Keep all packages under cover. If outside storage is unavoidable, lay drums horizontally to prevent water ingress and damage to markings. Avoid storing above 60°C or exposing to hot sun or freezing conditions.
Safety Warning: As with all glycol ether-based brake fluids, avoid spilling on paintwork to prevent damage. Rinse affected areas with water immediately. Do not wipe.
