This carefully curated mix of pollen-rich flowers is designed to attract an array of wildlife and pollinators, enhancing your garden's biodiversity year after year. Shake onto the ground, rake in, and water. The contents contain a seed mixture and spreading agent to ensure the seeds are evenly spread. The varieties can differ due to crop and seasonal circumstances.
For best results, sow outdoors from late March to early June. Prepare the soil by removing any weeds and debris, then rake the area to prepare the soil for sowing. Shake the box well to ensure an even distribution of seeds and spreading agent. Scatter directly from the box or by hand if you find this easier, then lightly rake the surface. Flowerbeds can be rolled or firmed down to ensure good seed-to-soil contact and water thoroughly, keeping the soil consistently moist to activate the seeds.
Allow plants to die back and self-seed at the end of the season to further attract wildlife. Insects will gather in the growth; hedgehogs and birds will feed off the insects and seeds and will also gather nesting materials for over the winter.
