Cube Storage

Cube storage for organising busy homes

Free up space on your coffee table by stacking books or magazines horizontally in a multi-compartment storage unit for a chic, modern look in your living room. If you have any empty spaces, you could decorate them with candles, plants, vinyl records, photos, and your favourite ornaments.

We love cube storage for its versatility; they're useful in every single room in the house, and can also be used as a surface for mounting TVs and books - how's that for multitasking? Cube shelves make a great addition to a child's playroom for toy storage, and are a must-have piece of hallway furniture to manage shoes and accessories.

Cube storage configurations and sizes

The modular design of these storage units means they're super convenient and adaptable, whether you're stacking a 2-shelf unit or building one large 16-square unit.

Small units with only 3 cubes are ideal for stuffed toys, clothes, bed linen, and even shoes if there’s no space for a shoe rack. Keep everything organised with our clever cube fabric boxes; these help you customise the area with different colours and designs.

In the hallway, a horizontal 4-cube unit under your coat hook can be a practical storage for shoes, hats, and scarves. Use baskets to keep them separated and a decorative bowl on top as a memorable place to leave your keys, wallet, and sunglasses.

FAQs

Can you stack cube storage?

Yes, small cube storage units can be stacked horizontally, but make sure to secure them to the wall using raw plugs, strong brackets, and screws to prevent tipping.

Can cube storage units be used as a bench?

Doubling up a cube storage unit as a storage bench is a popular method of making the most of space. Place vertically underneath bay windows, in the hallway or even in the kids' bedroom and top with cushions and throws. We recommend using a double-tiered unit; otherwise, explore storage benches for a ready made piece of furniture that does more than one job.
