  If it’s been raining you’ll need to let the wood dry for 5 hours before putting it on. It should not be applied in the rain. Make sure it’s a warm, dry day (above 10°C). Clean the wood with a stiff brush to get rid of any dirt. If you’re spraying it on, always read the sprayer instructions first. Check you’re happy with the colour, find a small hidden patch of wood and try it before you cover the whole fence or shed.
