3. Mix water with a few drops of dish soap in a spray bottle.

4. Spray the glass with the soapy solution.

5. Gently peel the backing off the film, spray it with the soapy solution and press it onto the wet glass.

6. Using a squeegee, remove any bubbles and excess water.

7. Trim any extra film with a utility knife or scissors.

How do you remove window film?

Follow these steps on how to remove window film:

1. Start at a corner and try to gently peel the film away.

3. Using a utility knife or razor blade, gently lift the film ensuring no damage to the glass.

4. Continue peeling the film away, using the water mixture as you go to keep it moist. If the film is stubborn, try using a heat gun or hairdryer on a low heat to soften the adhesive. This will make it easier to peel off.

5. After removing the film, scrape off any adhesive residue left on the glass, using a window scraper.
