Our first impressions
At first glance the outside of this 1980s house appeared quite tidy, but the driveway had darkened over time and the door and window colours were dated, positioning the house firmly in the last century! There was no obvious boundary between this house and the neighbouring property.
How we achieved the look
The window frames have been painted in a dark colour to compliment the updated doors giving a contemporary feel across the whole property. The front door and garage door have also been repainted in a smart grey, making the property look current and modern.
Refreshed door
Even small details matter. A new, contemporary house number and door furniture in a steel finish complete the modern upgrade.
Driveway cleaned
The driveway has been jet-washed and sealed making a marked difference to the overall appearance of the front garden.
New bench and planters
A modern bench and selection of modern planters – with tall bamboo planted in them – form a distinctive and attractive boundary to the edge of the drive, adding interest and privacy.
Other small jobs
The overgrown shrubs have been replaced with new planting, the lawn has been mown and new hanging baskets now frame the doorway.
