Enjoy vibrant colour throughout the summer with these long-lasting, tightly clustered purple florets, held high on long stalks. Flowering from July to October, Verbena bonariensis is excellent for attracting bees and butterflies to your garden. Pot up your plants and grow them on in frost-free conditions, ready for transplanting into borders later. Once the risk of frost has passed and the plants are well-grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant outdoors in a sheltered spot, in any moist, well-drained soil, in full sun.
