This fantastic collection comprises three popular and heavy-cropping varieties which will between them produce an abundant harvest starting in July and lasting right through to mid-October. All are easy to grow, vigorous, reliable and British bred, making them perfectly well suited to garden or allotment growing in the UK. Collection comprises: 3 x Raspberry 'Glen Prosen' - Summer fruiting cultivar with medium-large sized fruit, which is firm and with excellent flavour. Canes are thornless and upright, with moderate vigour. 3 x Raspberry 'Glen Ample' - RHS AGM winner. Exceptional high-yielding mid season variety, producing a heavy crop of large, deep red, succulent berries, with superb flavour. 3 x Raspberry 'Autumn Bliss' - One of the best and most reliable autumn fruiting varieties, producing a heavy crop of large, attractive red berries from late August until mid October. Grow raspberry plants in a sunny position in any well drained soil. Prior to planting, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil. Before planting, prepare a framework of wires stretched horizontally between two sturdy 1.8m (6') posts. Plant raspberry canes in a row against the wire supports, allowing a distance of 60cm (24") between plants. Canes should be pruned to 15cm (6") above ground level immediately after planting to encourage more shoots to be produced. Water well for the first year until plants are fully established. Loosely tie the stems of summer fruiting raspberries in to their support wires as they grow.
