Following a 7 to 10-day period of acclimatisation to outdoor conditions, transplant Jasmine stephanense into spacious patio containers or garden borders. When cultivating jasmine in pots, opt for a loam-based compost, such as John Innes No. 2. In borders, plant jasmine in any moist, well-drained soil, ensuring a location with sun or partial shade. Offer the twining stems suitable support, such as trellis or wires affixed to walls and fences. Regularly feed and water jasmine plants throughout the growing season. Post-flowering, prune the oldest stems and trim the remaining stems to manage their vigorous growth within the allocated space.
