It also eliminates the need to stop and empty the grass bag when mowing large areas. If you prefer to collect the clippings, simply remove the mulching plug and use the collection bag as usual. Mulching is especially useful for the first few cuts of the season. All Powerbase electric rotary lawnmowers feature patented Turbo Drive and Air-Lift technologies. Turbo Drive ensures consistent torque for an even cut, even through thicker patches of grass, while Air-Lift, inspired by wind tunnel testing and using a winged carbon steel blade, helps direct the clippings to the back of the collection bag for maximum grass collection.
