Product Information
Chamelaucium uncinatum, also know as the Wax Flower, is an Australian evergreen shrub with an open and spreading habit, becoming denser with age.
The dark green leaves are very fine and narrow, spiky even, with hooked tips. Small waxy flowers are held in clusters, each flower has an eye catching darker centre and comes in many colours from white to deep purples from Spring to Summer. These long lasting blooms are often used as cut flowers, where you can enjoy them for a few weeks.
This semi-hardy evergreen needs to be protected in winter months during hard frosts. If grown in containers and brought into a conservatory in Winter, it will flower year after year.
- Evergreen foliage for year-round interest
- An unusual addition to the garden
- Drought resistant once established
- Great for planting in pots or into the garden
