Hurst Green Shaft peas are an old favourite and an excellent summer maincrop pea. They produce abundant crops of sweet tasting peas. The plants are known to be reliable, productive and disease resistant, bearing edible white flowers followed by long green tightly packed pods. Regular picking ensures a long harvesting period and excess produce freezes well.
